His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant, the Commander of the Forces, and several other distinguished noblemen and gentlemen, being present. The surplus, after defraying the expenses of the Banquet, amounting to £1,002 10s., was invested in New 3 per cent stock, the annual interest to be applied to the advancement of deserving pupils of the Royal Hibernian Military School.
